Discover some of the most spectacular stretches of the Costa Blanca with our guided kayak tours in Villajoyosa and Altea.

Choose between an easy-level route towards Torre del Aguiló, featuring coves, snorkeling, and optional cliff jumps, or a more adventurous experience along Morro de Toix, which includes exploring the Cova dels Coloms sea cave.

Both activities include a guide, technical equipment, snorkeling gear, insurance, and photos. The exact itinerary may be adapted based on sea conditions, weather, and the group's pace.

The route starts at Playa del Torres in Villajoyosa. After an initial briefing on kayak handling and safety rules, you will start paddling past cliffs, small coves, and crystal-clear waters towards Torre del Aguiló.

The tour may pass spots such as Cala Erizos, Cala Fonda, Racó del Conill, and Punta Plana. A stop is made to rest, swim, and enjoy snorkeling.

Those looking for extra thrill can participate in optional cliff jumping into the sea, always under supervision and only when conditions are completely safe.

The final distance covered and itinerary may vary depending on sea conditions and the overall capability of the group.

This route starts at Playa del Mascarat in Altea. You will paddle alongside Punta del Mascarat, Racó del Corb, and the impressive cliffs of Morro de Toix—one of the most breathtaking coastal landscapes in the area.

The highlight of the tour is exploring the Cova dels Coloms. Access to the cave involves a short scramble up from the kayaks. Guided exploration inside continues with helmets and headlamps through several chambers where natural freshwater springs can be seen.

To return to the kayaks, a controlled jump into the sea is made. Afterward, the route continues towards Cala del Gasparet for a relaxing break to swim and snorkel.

This activity is more adventurous than the El Aguiló route and is recommended for participants comfortable in open water, exploring caves, and short scrambles.

This route includes a short scramble, cave exploration with headlamps, and a cliff jump. It is not recommended for individuals with severe claustrophobia or those uncomfortable in confined spaces.

  • Transport to the meeting point.
  • Food and drinks.
  • Footwear suitable for water activities with good grip and heel support. Flip-flops are strictly prohibited.
  • Swimwear or comfortable clothing that can get wet.
  • Towel and dry clothes to change into afterward.
  • Sun hat / cap.
  • Sunglasses, preferably with a retaining strap.
  • Sunscreen.
  • At least 1.5 liters of water per person.
  • Light snacks such as fruit, nuts, or a sandwich.
Avoid bringing unnecessary electronic devices. While dry containers reduce risk, absolute protection against salt water cannot be guaranteed.

  • Basic physical fitness and good general health.
  • Comfortable swimming and being in open water.

  • Participation under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited.

  • For the Cova dels Coloms tour, participants must not suffer from claustrophobia that prevents cave exploration.

Which route to choose? El Aguiló is the most accessible, family-friendly, and relaxed option. Morro de Toix and Cova dels Coloms is the higher-adventure alternative for those looking for dramatic cliffs, sea cave exploration, and a fuller challenge.
